Forres Footpaths Trust has encouraged walking in the Forres area for many years. The Walk routes, several of which are waymarked, are available for free on their website. They enable the walker to marvel at the glorious floral displays, see the modern and older engineering works, and the military memories in the area or simply to stroll around and enjoy this beautiful town and the surrounding area.
Forres Footpaths Trust has been leading walks since the start of the Moray Walking and Outdoor Festival. They use funds raised to maintain and update their website and identify and publish new routes.
