Lise Olsen is a Scottish-based artist whose practice explores immersive sound and the soundwalk experience using field recordings and stories. She is searching for different forms of awareness and interprets sounds as a sonic identifier of place. Lise was appointed the artist in residence for the Moray Way Association. She is also a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Aberdeen and her research focuses on sound art and installation. She questions can immersive soundscapes create an embodied experience of the in-between?
