A walk around the town of Rothes, sharing intriguing stories behind the street names and explaining their historical appearances.
Graeme Jefferson, a well-known face in the area, will lead an engaging walk around Rothes, illuminating the stories behind the street names.
A lifelong resident of the area, he will share the history of the folk who lived in the town and the tales of whisky steeling to the horse milk carts, which he once used to deliver the milk from.
He’ll reveal the reasons behind the appearance of certain streets, harking back to a time when ‘everyone had a pig, cow, or grew something’ in their backyard.
All profits will go to the development of the Rothes Way.
