Enjoy a walk and talk around Lossiemouth exploring places associated with Lossiemouth born Ramsay MacDonald, who became Prime Minister of the UK in 1924. Refreshments follow the walk.
Join members of the Lossiemouth Heritage Association on an evening walk and talk around Lossiemouth exploring places associated with Ramsay MacDonald. Ramsay was a Lossie loon who became Prime Minister of the UK in 1924. Starting outside the Hillocks, the house he had built in Lossiemouth, the walk will meander through streets and past buildings Ramsay would have known, and we will stop along the way to learn more about their connection to him. The walk will return to the Hillocks and end with refreshments served on the veranda of the Hillocks, hosted by Ramsay’s granddaughter Iona Kielhorn.
