Gentle circular walk with lots of stops to hear stories attached to the trees in the centre of Elgin.

History and myth can be found attached to many things. Humanity has a whole lot of fascinating interactions with the living world – not least trees.
Come for a summer’s evening, gentle wander through Cooper Park along the banks of the Lossie. You’ll hear intriguing tales of myth, magic, travel and the secret lives of the trees we’ll visit. Here on our doorstep we have rare and unusual specimens which have been fetched from the furthest ends of the earth while some of the most familiar hold secrets of their own.
