Father’s Day Foray
Sun, 16 June 2024 @ 10:00 - 12:00
An outdoor Fathers Day event with tree-riffic trek followed by nature based crafts, marshmallows from the firepit and some fire lighting practice for Dad!
Stumped on what to do with your Dad on Father’s Day?
Want to spend some quality time in the outdoors?
Then join us for a tree-riffic trek around Duffus Estate on Sunday, 16 June, 10 am-12 noon.
With a mini scavenger hunt along the way, this is a gentle, child-led walk aimed at getting families with children up to age 8 (approx.) outdoors and enjoying the benefits of connecting with nature. We will finish the walk by working together to light a fire and toasting marshmallows. We will have hot drinks available and DIY nature-based crafts for the kids to make for Dad, whilst Dad has the opportunity to have a go at lighting his own fire with flint and steels.
Please come prepared for the Scottish weather in sturdy walking shoes, boots or wellies and a waterproof. We will run the session whatever the weather, but in the event of high winds, for safety reasons, we may not be able to have the fire activity or run the session at all.
