Experience the outdoors from a different view with this paddle adventure!

Paddlesports are quickly becoming the UK’s fastest-growing water activities and, with an abundance of places to explore, Scotland is one of the best places in the world to enjoy them. And we promise we are not biased!

You can explore the seascapes of our locations with a variety of paddlesports, from double and single sit-on kayaks and stand-up paddleboards (SUPs). Whether you’re a pro or a beginner, paddlesports are one of the best ways to improve your wellness through the water.

Our qualified instructor-led sessions are available in Cullen Harbour and are subject to ability* and weather conditions in Cullen Bay.

The ticket includes instruction, buoyancy aids, helmet and hire of the paddleboard or kayak and paddles.

When booking, please select whether you wish to use a kayak or paddle board – this equipment cannot be shared during the session.

Important Information

Please wear your own wet suits and shoes. Helmets and buoyancy aids will be provided and are sanitised overnight.

Please arrive dressed and ready for the session 15 minutes in advance of your session start time at Cullen Harbour.  Buoyancy aids and optional helmets will be fitted and outstanding consent forms checked.

If you do not have a wetsuit please wear lightweight clothing (not jeans) and shoes that you don’t mind getting wet. Wetsuits can be hired on the day (subject to availability) at £5 per wetsuit, per person, per session. Please bring cash on the day to pay. To guarantee a wetsuit, please email enquiries@cullenseaschool.co.uk or call 01542 840830 to confirm which session you have booked on, number and size of wetsuits required.

Sessions last 45 minutes.

Under 12’s & 7’s

Children aged 6 and under must share a craft with an accompanying full paying adult (parent, guardian, carer) and children aged 7 – 11 must be accompanied by a full paying adult (parent, guardian, carer) on the water.

Sessions are held in Cullen Harbour area depending on weather and tide and tailored to suit the age-ability of participants.

In order to go out of the harbour on either a SUP Paddleboard or kayak during your session, our instructors will assess your ability to be in open water. Beginners will not be able to go out of the harbour, you will need to be confident and be able to self-rescue. Going out of the harbour is also subject to there being appropriate sea and weather conditions.
