Midsummer Dawn Chorus at Laikenbuie

Start the day early with a wonderful experience at Laikenbuie.
Join us for an early morning stroll through the woodland and wetland at Laikenbuie, listening to the vibrant melodies of a mid-summer dawn chorus.
We will have the opportunity to listen to such beautiful songsters as Song Thrush, Blackcap and Sedge Warbler, finishing with tea, cake and a beautiful view! You can learn how to tell some of the singing birds apart, or simply enjoy nature’s soundtrack as we wander through the woods and meadows.
The walk will be at a gentle pace and take between 1—1.5 hours with time to stop, listen and stare. We will follow paths but the terrain is rough in places with some small inclines.
