Learn how to track mammals and recognise the clues they leave behind. Discover their secret lives and find out how you can protect them by becoming a mammal detective.

Join certified tracker Dan Puplett as we search for clues left behind by our fellow mammals, from badgers to bank voles and roe deer to red squirrels. There is plenty of evidence if you know where (and how) to look, and we will be keeping our senses primed for mammals themselves as well as their footprints, homes, feeding signs, droppings, scrapes, calls and more.

You will also learn how being a mammal detective can help protect this amazing group of animals. Even if you are new to mammal tracking, there are fun and easy ways to send your observations to the Mammal Society, supporting their essential conservation work and turning any walk into a tracking adventure!
