An exceptional heritage walk with local writer Rob Wallen around Garmouth & Kingston.

Join Rob Wallen, writer of Garmouth & Kingston: a brief history, for a special guided walk of the area. Rob will take you through Kingston and Garmouth and show you the highlights and history of the area including the incredible shipbuilding and shipping industry which took place there, and now barely any evidence of.  There will also be an explanation of the topography of this coastal landscape and spectacular views over the Moray Firth.  Refreshments and toilets will be available from 11 am, before the walk, and at the end of the event, at the Community Hub, which also has a small exhibition on local history.
