A unique insight from our Assistant Head Gardener into Brodie Castle’s beautiful Estate discussing its beauty and heritage and looking to how the conservation work undertaken will shape it’s future.

A history of the heritage of the Estate, how this relates to today’s landscape and what the future may hold.
Learn about the biodiversity of the site, the conservation undertaken and reasons for this, how the team maintain the historical links, about wildlife on the Estate, what has changed in processes and techniques, what can be learnt from the past and how our actions help shape the future.

You will also get an insight into the features, designs and place names on the Estate, geology of the area, information on discoveries during National Trust for Scotland archaeological digs and the links the Estate has with other places in the area and to historical events.
