Heroic World War II forays, coracles, railways, Hudson Bay, whisky production, the wildlife and habitats of the Spey and great coffee, all in a gentle linear walk.

More his is a leisurely linear walk, looping around and joining part of the Moray Way. We will go to Nether Dallachy then cut across the 2nd World War aerodrome. It will take in some of the stories of the old railways and the remarkable heroism of the Strike Wing. At Bogmoor we will take one of the routes provided by the Smith Family through Byres Farm to join the Speyside Way and enjoy the wonderful wetland habitats of the lower Spey. Our route takes us over the former railway bridge into the historic village of Garmouth where we will stop for delicious coffee and pastries at the Speyside Coffee Roasting Company. It will be possible for people to order lunch there as well or take a turn around this lovely village and choose to visit the Heritage exhibition at the Community Trust, which will be open until 4 pm.
