An engaging, informative, circular seven-mile walk around and about Forres with glimpses of the town’s past.
This delightful circular seven-mile walk around the environs of Forres and along a stretch of the River Findhorn will enable you to see Forres from a different viewpoint. It will also provide the opportunity to learn about the town’s historical personalities, discover aspects of civil engineering, both old and recent and view some of the military memorials that reflect part of the area’s history.
Even those who live in Forres may be surprised to discover some of the paths and lanes followed on this walk.
