Atween twa Kirks – 1500 years of Myth and Legend

Take time out to learn about the History, Myths and Legends that abound on the picturesque stretches of the river Spey and Lour burn
This circular walk, with Storyteller Ben Hinnie, starts from the War Memorial by the Parish Church in the Square, Aberlour and proceeds at a leisurely pace over level terrain by the banks of the River Spey and Lour burn to the auld kirk o Skirdustan.
Picts, Monks, Vikings, Jacobites and Water Beasties have all left their mark in Speyside. On this leisurely guided story walk you can learn about the 1500 years of History, Myths and Legends that abound on these picturesque stretches of the river Spey and the Lour burn that flow by the Parish Church and the ancient ruins of the auld Kirk o Skirdustan. Both churches are dedicated to St. Drostan.
